Our thoughts and prayers are with all our neighbors in the Panhandle as they have suffered a great tragedy due to wildfires. A little over two years ago, many families of EISD suffered a similar disaster. People from around the state gave to help during our time of need.
In an effort to give back in a similar fashion, EISD will partner with First Financial Bank to raise funds to help with relief efforts for families in that region.
On March 4th through the 8th, the office of each campus will be taking donations for the fundraiser. Employees may contribute $5 per day to wear jeans. Students may contribute $1 per day to wear a hat to school. Any other donations will be welcome as well.
All funds will be sent to First Financial Bank to be added to a greater donation to assist those relief efforts.
