Dear Eastland ISD families,
We wanted to share with all of you information regarding the funeral arrangements for Eastland High School student, Izaac Perez. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10:00a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland, TX with Pastor Walter Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Gorman, TX. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Parents, if your child wishes to attend, we strongly encourage you to accompany him or her to the service. Students who wish to attend will need parental permission to be released from school. Staff members who wish to attend will need to communicate with their campus administrator to make arrangements for class coverage, etc.
Please continue to keep the Perez and Griffin families in your prayers as they go through this extremely difficult time. I also ask that you pray for the Eastland ISD students that have lost a friend and the staff members who have lost a student.
